It all started in 1971, when Ben and Theresa Ragucci opened a small store in Seaford, New York.  Today, Jetmore, the family-owned company selling barbecue grills and glass fireplace enclosures, occupies an entire brick-fronted building where once four separate shops stood in Wantagh, New York.  As Ben Ragucci says simply: "We're one of the largest dealers in New York State.  For example, we display about 70 different grills, from a low-end $249 version to a $4,500 stainless steel grill with all the options."  You'll also find a "most-wanted" list of name brands: Lazy-Man, ProFire, the Optimum Series by Modern Home Products and Weber.  What to consider when choosing a grill?  "Quality," Ragucci answers.  "You can cook a hamburger on a $5 or a $5,000 grill.  But you'll probably replace the inexpensive grill every year, while the quality one will last a lifetime.  In fact," he laughs, "one manufacturer insists you can put this grill in your will."  Charcoal or gas?  "Whatever you choose," he says.  "We have the most extensive parts replacement department around.  And we make house calls for repairs," in a truck marked with a cartoon doctor.  Jetmore also assembles and delivers your new grill - and offers accessories from smoking chips with mesquite, hickory, and apple flavor to barbecue rubs; even exchange your empty 20 pound gas cylinder for a full one, for a small fee.  Now think winter - a cozy, warm fire leaping behind a glass enclosure.  Explains Ragucci: "The glass enclosures are popular because they conserve energy, preventing warm air from being sucked through the chimney and away from the house."  For all your barbeque and fireplace needs, Jetmore will be there to help you.
