Zorn's - Famous Chicken & Ribs Long Island locations: Bellmore, Bethpage, East Meadow Our story began in 1940 when we opened our first store in Bethpage, Long Island, New York, selling fresh poultry to the public. We raised our own turkeys and chickens on 7 farms in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. In 1950, we pioneered the rotisserie-cooked chicken and that was the beginning of our takeout/prepared food menu. Personalized customer service, quality ingredients and our family recipes made the store a success. As the years passed we gradually expanded our menu and our reputation for the finest home cooked takeout food spread across the island. We currently offer over 300 homemade items. Now, 60 years later, we are still family owned and operated (3 generations of Zorns!). To assure that our food and service maintains the expected consistency and quality, we have carefully expanded by adding two stores; one in Bellmore and one in East Meadow. Our family recipes and personalized customer service established in 1940 are still followed today and are the continuing basis for our success. Over the years our customers have asked us to send our food out of the area to family members, friends, relatives, associates and clients. To satisfy this need, we are now offering a select menu of our quality food for shipment anywhere in the United States and Canada. We promise you that our home cooked meals are prepared for you with the same quality and care that has made us the very best for over a half century.
